April Meeting: 2013 Crop Outlook: What does it mean for you and your organization?

The USDA crop plantings intentions report is out, and Rob Westmoreland, executive vice president at Informa Economics, Inc. will be joining us to provide analysis and interpretation that Informa is known for among our industry.

More about Rob:

Rob oversees the Informa Economics grains, oilseeds, and other crop and food ingredient economic research and forecasting functions. His many food and agribusiness consulting assignments include commodity market planning, price risk management, and business strategic planning for a wide spectrum of US and international food, agribusiness, and investment companies. He is also director of Informa’s education and training programs in commodity marketing and risk management.  Mr. Westmoreland joined Informa, formerly Sparks Companies, in 1987 and was previously an executive of The Pillsbury Company.  He is an economics graduate of Rice University and of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.  He and his wife Shirley reside in Germantown, Tennessee.
